How to add Google site kit plugin in WordPress

A beginner guide on how to add Google Site Kit plugin in WordPress. You can use to connect all the services provided for every webmaster who owns a website such as Search Console, AdSense, Analytics and Pagespeed insight

You can also use Optimize and Tag manager through the settings option. Optimize to do A/B test and Tag manager to create tags without updating code

This will help reduce the numbers of plugins you would use in a typical WordPress website/blog and it will help you with improving your site speed or loading time a little bit if not much

As of writing this blog post, it has been officially released to WordPress and the version is 1.1.0 and the bugs have been fixed from the time it was first released

GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE

By default, this tool will be the first to be linked to your website/blog

FIRST, log in to your website/blog dashboard and click on plugins

SECOND, After it expands choose add new

THIRD, Search for google site kit in the rectangular box next to keywords, install and activate the plugin

FOURTH, The plugin is now activated and click on the start setup button

FIFTH, Click on the sign-in Google button to get started

SIXTH, Choose your email which has your search console if you have multiple accounts like me

SEVEN, Allow view and manage search console data for your verified sites

EIGHT, Allow to Manage the list of sites and domain you control

NINE, To confirm your email address, click on the allow button

TEN, Click on allow the button to have your website access to your Google account data

ELEVEN, To connect with your search console click on add site button

LASTLY, Click on Go to my dashboard

GOOGLE ADSENSE

FIRST, Click on the Google site kit in website/blog

SECOND, Choose Adsense option by clicking on it

THIRD, Click on the email account which has your AdSense if you have multiple accounts

FOURTH, Give site kit access to the account by clicking on the allow button

LASTLY, If you have happened to have used a different plugin for your AdSense code delete/remove that plugin before you click on continue button

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

FIRST, Click on the Google site kit in your WordPress site/blog

SECOND, Choose Analytics option

THIRD, just like the above steps choose the account which has your Analytics

FOURTH, Edit Google Analytics management entities to be allowed

FIFTH, Manage Google Analytics users by email address be allow

SIXTH, View your Google Analytics data is to be allowed

SEVEN, View and manage your Google Analytics data is allowed

EIGHT, Click on the allow button to confirm your email address

LASTLY, Click on continue Analytics button

PAGE SPEED INSIGHTS

It has been recently incorporated or added to the new search console but used to a separate different tool

This one will take only a few seconds because you have already set up Search console

FIRST, Click on the Google site kit option in your WordPress

LASTLY, Click on the Pagespeed insights to connect
